Attention: deadline and conditions for the submission of the final paper

As an author of an accepted extended abstract, you must consider the following points.

  • Authors of accepted extended abstracts are requested to submit a complete final paper to the FIV organization by 16 April 2016 for inclusion in online and on-demand hardcopy of proceedings, and for the right to deliver a presentation at the conference.
  • Authors declare that they have the permission of sponsors/employers to submit the final paper.
  • Please notice that the final papers will not be reviewed in content, but screened by the FIV 2016 organization to check compliance with the correct format and coherence with the topic of the abstract. We will also pay attention to the answer to the reviewer's comments.
  • Authors of final papers are responsible to ensure that a suitable representative attends the conference to present the contents of the paper. All accepted papers for the conference which fail to deliver a presentation shall be withdrawn from the conference proceedings.
  • The FIV 2016 organization claims no rights to the papers or their contents. Therefore, a copyright transfer form is not required. The following exception applies: the FIV 2016 organization reserves the right to include the final paper(s) into the online and on-demand hardcopy of the conference proceedings.
  • Submission of a final paper implies acceptance of these above-referenced conditions.

Extended abstracts shall contain a clear description of the motivation for the research presented, the methodology followed and the key findings resulting from the study subject of the abstract. Plots, charts and other forms of graphical material that support the research are required - submissions lacking these may not be considered for further promotion to a full paper. Extended abstracts are due no later than February 1st, 2016.

Please note: Authors of accepted abstracts will be requested to submit a complete paper to the FIV organization by 16 April 2016 for inclusion in online and on-demand hardcopy of proceedings, and for the right to present at the conference. Authors declare that they have the permission of sponsors/employers to submit an abstract and paper. Authors whose papers are accepted are responsible to ensure that a suitable representative attends the conference to present the contents of the paper. This policy is necessary to minimize conference fees for delegates and increase the quality of the conference. Submission of an extended abstract implies acceptance of these guidelines.
